Larss is a head-to-head strategy game that takes the satisfying click of block-blast and tetromino puzzles and turns it into a 1v1 brain-fight.
Two players. One shared board. Every shape you place builds the board your opponent has to use next.
How it plays
- You and your opponent take turns placing tetromino-style shapes on the same grid.
- Fill a row, column, or diagonal — those cells clear and you score.
- Surround opponent pieces with your colour — they get cleared too.
- The bigger the clear, the more each cell is worth. Chain a massive multi-line wipe and watch the points stack.
- You don't pick the shape — both players see the same upcoming sequence, so the game is pure planning.
Why it's not Tetris
- Nothing falls. You place pieces directly — no reflexes, all strategy.
- One board, two players. Every cell you clear gives your opponent fresh real estate to build into.
- Four clear types (rows, columns, diagonals, surrounds) interact in surprising ways. Surround captures alone create a whole second layer of play.
- Tiered scoring rewards combo plays. A 6-cell clear isn't worth twice a 3-cell — it's worth more.

- **Sandbox** — try positions and see the engine's analysis.
